Oral Surgery Dr. Ralph Eichstaedt
Dr. Ralph Eichstaedt, DDS
Dr. Eichstaedt was born in Harvey, Illinois and raised in the greater Chicago area.
He graduated from the Valparaiso University with senior honors. Dr. Eichstaedt
then attended the University Of Illinois School Of Dentistry where he received
a Bachelor’s degree in Dentistry and Doctor of Dental Surgery with honors. His
Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery training was undertaken at Washington
Univeristy/Barnes Hospital in St. Louis. There he completed an internship in
General Surgery and the program in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
Subsequently, Dr. Eichstaedt completed a fellowship in Tumor and Reconstructive
Surgery at the University of Miami under the supervision of renowned surgeon
Dr. Robert Marx.
Dr. Eichstaedt is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial
Surgery. He has been in academic and private practice since practice since
1990. He is a member of the Omicron Kappa Epsilon Dental Honor Society. He is a
recipient of the Nicholas Iula Memorial Award for Contribution to the Specialty
of Oral and Maxillofacial surgery. He has written and spoken nationally on
topics in oral surgery including hard and soft tissue reconstruiction of the
head and neck, implant reconstruction of the cancer patient, and other topics.
